This season of the NFL is another in the line of the long, endless battle of the GOP to retake the league from “wokeness” without actually financially hurting them since it’s more bad to stop buying the polyester merchandise and tickets to see 2 teams that are made of people from anywhere but the city it’s named after. Well, it turns out that giving them money and the president buying tickets didn’t mean shit to this global monopoly, as they announced that a faggot spic and Green Day would be present as the musical headliners of this year’s Super Bowl.
The news that the faggot bunny was going to do the halftime caused an uproar among Republicans who saw the sacred tradition of Jerry Jones and teams extorting their cities for taxpayer money as falling to sports being “political.” So TPUSA launched the “All American Halftime Show” as a way to show the people resisting against the DEI performance. Already I saw the crack beginning, as the lineup is made up of 3 nobodies and Kid Rock, a guy who hasn’t been relevant since ditching his drug-douchebag-rapper era.
To me this lineup was strange since this was going to be the marketed rival to the Super Bowl. Yet they can only get people you haven’t heard of until now. Brantley Gilbert hasn’t been famous since 2014 and only averages around 2.8 million listeners per month. Lee Brice, meanwhile, hasn’t made an album since 2020, and yet he gets a spot. Meanwhile, Gabby is a new upcoming artist who somehow became a headliner despite her popular album being a Christmas album that has songs millions of people already recorded.
There are many right-wing musicians that people know and listen to. Yet this is what 120 million live viewers are going to get. I’m surprised they didn’t drag Lee Greenwood out of his hospice so he could yell out lyrics to his Reagan campaign song.
However, when watching the event itself, I can see why they only afforded these people despite TPUSA being a cash cow within the conservative grift. They got a Cameo message from Pete Hegseth, and the spoilers are that the musicians don’t perform live, as their sets are prerecorded and they only lip-sync. I noticed the prerecording quickly, as the acoustic guitars the singers held weren’t heard from the audio at any point of this performance, even when the camera shows them strumming the guitar. They didn’t try with Lee since no one was even on stage to fake playing the instruments, as she barely succeeds in lip-syncing.
All this talk about fake playing comes to eventually the most laughed-at part of this “show,” and it’s Kid Vanilli’s total fail of a performance of Bawitdaba. This 55-year-old bum doesn’t even try at all as he dances on stage pretending he’s still the 27-year-old rap rocker killing it with singing his song that promotes prostitution, drugs, criminals, and hating pigs at an event that is marketed as a trad rebellion against the woke left.
Right-wing e-celebs tried to defend this, stating it’s some allegory about how he changed because after this is his tribute song to Charlie Kirk. One issue is it doesn’t cancel out what left wingers who support Bad Bunny saw before, which was an old ass man having to do this humiliation ritual because he will forever be popular because of the degenerate rap songs he wants to disassociate from but can’t since his rebrand is a total failure. Democrats are just laughing that him flailing around onstage was somehow going to destroy their live music video shoot.
Aside from the event itself, surely this could be a success because of the social media clout. Sad to say that was a flop since you have grifters actually parading that getting 25 million views on various platforms known for botting compared to a 120 million viewership from TV as a “win” since “we beat the critics,” and people outright lying about why they didn’t upload the event to X.
Keep in mind these niggas who are praising views will tell you how social media clout is fake and gay at any other time or when the left uploads something that goes viral and they can’t slop post their way out of it.
Hell, the official video from the NFL YouTube channel got more views than on Charlie’s channel that they keep using despite him being dead.
If the GOP wants to win the culture war through music, then they have to stop this whole Gen X rock concert slop and produce songs and live shows people can like. Everything that the far right criticizes the mainstream right for is present in this event alone.
The best thing about this whole dumpster fire is that the Trump golf course didn’t even show this event in the end; they were viewing the Bad Beaner show instead.
Don’t worry, chuddie. Once TPUSA does 5 more of these slop concerts, then we can depoliticalize football again o algo.
