To catch up with the current situation, some Democrats created a video urging military personnel to disobey any orders that offend them.
To me this whole appeal to federal workers almost never works since they do anything the White House says no matter who’s in it. All the soldiers and agents Trump hired the first time were willing to go through with the Jan 6 witch hunts and Biden’s military L’s without question for 4 years. Even if Vance loses in 28, all the people Hegseth hired will just not care and remove the Department of War sign from the building on day one.
Either way, Trump crashed out on his dead personal social media website, where he called for Democrats to be executed for “treason.”
I will never know how people keep falling for this since Gavin Newsom is still a free man and Zohran wasn’t denaturalized. Trump wouldn’t jail a Democrat if the country depended on it. So the White House instantly backtracks to reassure the people that Trump will never arrest Democrats in his last 3 years in Washington.
There is some good news after all of this. Trump may let Democrats he believes are evil continue their political careers long after he’s exiled to Florida in 2029. The 38 trillion dollar spending House passed a letter saying that socialism is evil.
I’m sure this tradeoff will be remembered when Republicans pass another 5 trillion spending bill in 2026.
