After 2 weeks of failed moves to make America accept the coverup narrative. It has reached breaking point by a surprise attacker in the form of Rupert Murdoch’s news corporation the Wall Street Journal. The WSJ produced an article which claims that Trump made a birthday card for Epstein back in 2003.
To me this story might be fake, and surprise, surprise, Rupert Murdoch backstabbed Trump again after being forgiven for who knows how many times. Combined with the fact that there are no signs he is winning the narrative, it has made Trump lash out at the WSJ, whom he threatens to sue.
Hell, he is going one step further by demanding Pam go through grand jury testimonies in the vain attempt that this will help him win his argument.
So in order to prove to people Epstein was nothing more than some fake news scam invented by Obama and Hillary Clinton. He has to make the DOJ go through the investigation to find anything that will prove his narrative of it being a Democrat hoax. Nice to know he spent 2 weeks ruining his PR so that the Justice Department can keep investigating this case despite it being officially “closed.” All so he can get some civil lawsuit dub from a guy who runs every major right-wing news site, on which his administration makes frequent appearances, including Fox News.
I’m sure the whatever percent of his supporters who are deemed “past supporters” will surely understand this 180 move so he can provide evidence in a civil suit that will be a nothing burger, as every media site won’t be sued for lies about immigration, personal or cabinet drama, or even conspiracies about the Trump administration.
This whole situation is only an endless hole that Republicans aren’t ever going to win in the end. Ironically, if all the liberal rich people were prosecuted and jailed for life if the names were released, then we would be talking about something else. Except that didn’t happen, and now it’s an e-drama cringefest between the most powerful man in the world and news corporations over something he demands the base stop accepting as fact after 6 years of being fine with Trump supporters talking about the files as fact.
