Facebook is only going on a downward spiral for anything other than real life people. Honestly I don’t see any use for it other than your family, friends, local community page and that’s it. Unless you are a Con Inc news site or brand then you are going to get banned for the most dumbest reason ever conceived in the history of online cenorship.

I mean in the last few years Facebook only invents more rules for the sole purpose of having the targeted account violate something when they haven’t for years just to ban them. If they don’t then they make the already established rules vague for the same effect.

Smith and Wesson is a legacy gun company that like with every brand has a page on Facebook for the purpose of marketing their product to people on the site. They haven’t face any issue for 15 years on the site. Well until now when Facebook banned them for violating their “weapons” policy despite them being a gun company.

Despite our extensive efforts and resources spent on trying to adhere to Facebook’s ever-changing community guidelines on firearms, our account was suspended indefinitely on Friday, November 22nd, 15 years after its original creation.

This is the reality of Facebook. Its a censorship hellhole where its only growing audience is 3rd world scams and AI slop.

Its never late to just abandon the platform the wall will keep growing from tags of your parents so it won’t feel like you’re afk. Also the site stole your entire life in a storage center for the US government so its probably wise to just delete the account and encourage others to do the same.
