Alex Proyas is one of these directors that relies on his most successful film since his lifelong career he barley made any movies. He never won an Oscar and his latest film that was made 8 years ago was panned and nominated for razzies.

All he has been doing recently was make short films that most people have no idea exist. Safe to say with his most successful film being I Robot he is going to hold on being the director for that film as his main purpose.
It was inevitable when he saw the introduction of the Tesla Robots like with everyone else. Which in my opinion is another in this tech that will be delayed for decades and when released it will be panned. Still it won’t stop him since he is accusing Musk of stealing the designs of the robots in his movie to design his line of personal robots.
Movie director Alex Proyas has accused billionaire Elon Musk of reusing designs shown in the 2004 adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s ‘I, Robot’ book series.
The electric car company Tesla hosted an event called ‘We, Robot’ last week, with the name playing on the title of the world-famous series of short sci-fi stories. Musk, who is the firm’s CEO, showed off revamped Optimus humanoid robots and new self-driving vehicle designs at the reception in Burbank, California.
”Hey Elon, Can I have my designs back please?” Proyas said on X on Sunday, posting side-by-side comparisons between what was shown by Tesla and what was featured in the film that he directed, which starred Will Smith in the lead role of a robot-skeptical police detective.
The entrepreneur did not respond to the thinly veiled accusation of IP theft, but some of his supporters pointed out that the designs used in the 2004 movie may not be as original as implied, and showed possible inspirations in art and car designs dating back decades.
I mean why would the richest man in America respond to some Australian director who’s career is nonexistent. I mean the guy had to edit in the title to a screenshot of the movie since it looked so generic compared to the Tesla vehicles.
The comments meanwhile are just clowning on how he thinks designs he stole from Art Deco futurism somehow belong to him when he’s accusing Musk of something he did for I Robot.
Not a single original idea in his life so him accusing Musk of stealing is laughable. This bum can cope from Australia as he fades in obscurity.
