Nintendo is sending their lawyers to your door if you program Switch emulators

After a few years of not doing anything Nintendo has revived their crusade against emulation and threats to their copyright. It started with a lawsuit against the creators of Palword in anger over them making a better Pokémon type game. In the meanwhile of that lawsuit they are sending cease and assist letters to the very few Switch emulators still active.

Nintendo already destroyed emulators Suyu, Nuzu, Uzuy, Torzu, and Sudachi with sending them letters and threats of lawsuit. Well now they are going to send their lawyers to your front door if they find out you are programming an emulator for the Switch. The creator of Switch emulator ryujinx is the first to experience this with Nintendo’s lawyers in Brazil showing up to his door.

Nintendo is no stranger to having a spying operation on people who dare tinkle with their consoles. I mean this is the same company that spied on a guy who reversed engineered his 3ds.

This was 10 years ago btw. Now the goons are going to be sent to your house if you dare try to play their 35 year old games on PC for free.

Nintendo won’t accept that people won’t drop 60 dollars a year on paid online just to play a few select games that have worse settings than emulators from the 90s. They will keep serving and suing for the end of time over something that most developers don’t care about anymore.

The switch is already on its way out and high chance most gamers who missed out on it aren’t dropping money on an outdated system. If they aren’t going to do with what Microsoft did to the X series consoles then emulation is inevitable no matter what.
