There is this trend in America that we need to help and support Amazon in their goal of controlling all aspects of public life because some liberals wanted them to pay more in taxes as a 2 trillion dollar company.

Libertarians believe that a company like Amazon would just play the rules and do this whole reward the worker since that is what Capitalism does because Jewish thinker from the cold war said so. Well it turns out they don’t care about laws or not treating their workers like slaves in the same way every multinational does.

Italy has seized 131 million dollars from Amazon after they found out they were committing Tax Fraud and treating their workers like shit.

MILAN, July 23 (Reuters) – Italy’s tax police have seized some 121 million euros ($131 million) from an Italian unit of e-commerce giant Amazon (AMZN.O)
, opens new tab as part of an investigation into alleged tax fraud and illegal labour practices, prosecutors’ documents showed on Tuesday.

In a 94-page order, the Milan Prosecutors’ Office accuses the logistic services unit Amazon Italia Transport of circumventing labour and tax laws, relying on cooperatives or limited liability companies that supplied workers while omitting VAT tax duties and reducing social security payments.

Prosecutors allege such a system enabled the Amazon unit to keep the prices of its services competitive in the Italian market.

This is what they have done in Italy, they are doing the same thing to America except 100x worse with the bonus of it being protected because somehow Amazon destroying all mom and pop shops is somehow free market capitalism.

Amazon of course has claimed they dindu nuffin they totally followed the rules to a teeth.

Amazon said it had adhered to the necessary rules.

“We comply with all applicable laws and regulations where we operate, and require companies who work with us to do the same…We will continue to help the relevant authorities with their inquiries,” Amazon said in a statement.

I’m not at all sympathetic when these multinationals get caught and punished since they haven’t benefited me in my life. If you are mad that Italy is enforcing their laws then you are a bootlicker who will never learn that Amazon and other global companies hate you politically and don’t care if you are electing people that give them special deals while Americans get stuck as wage slaves.
