Los Angeles wants to bans cell phone use in schools

Los Angeles is seeing a crisis in that the students aren’t getting a proper education and nothing is fixing that issue as students perform worse every year.

It totally has nothing to do with the fact that the schools are filled with illegals and inner city Latinos at all which makes them into glorified hang out spots for crime and degeneracy.

No instead the school district is pulling a boomer moment in that its that damn phone for the reason why the students are not learning. So the district board is starting the process of banning Cell Phone usage in LA schools.

The Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education Tuesday passed a proposal that would ban students’ use of cell phones and social media during the school day.

In a 5-2 vote, the board decided to direct its staff to begin developing policies over the next four months for the cell phone ban.

This vote does not automatically require schools to implement the ban. Rather with the passed proposal, LA Unified staff will begin discussions with stakeholders and experts to come up with specific recommendations.

The resolution, made by Member Nick Melvoin, seeks to have a new district cell phone policy in place by January 2025.

They are going all in on blaming the phone for why Pedro and his buddies won’t read the books, but still don’t want it to ban it outright but give schools the ability to “talk it out” on how to deal with it.

Their reasoning behind the cell phone ban is also part of the boomer mindset on phones.

Melvoin had cited research done on the effects that cell phones and their distraction potential have on learning.

“By removing personal smartphones and social media from the school day, we will help keep kids focused on the technology that supports education by insulating them from the distractions of technology that does not,” Melvoin wrote in an Op-Ed published in the LA Times last Friday.

The policy currently in place, adopted in May 2011, prohibits students’ use of cellphones “on campus during normal school hours or school activities, excluding the students’ lunchtime or nutrition breaks.”

They believe this even though schools in America were failing long before 2007. From what I’ve been seeing happen in LA schools its totally the Iphone’s fault on how bad its gotten.

I could go on, but the Phone isn’t the reason why the average student in Los Angeles is failing academically.

Merit anything won’t solve this problem either. These people are nothing but parasites who won’t ever progress in life with their offspring’s repeating the cycle. They need to be separated from the people who will succeed academically.
