Remember when the hekin based gigachad governor Desantis was going in with an iron fist to show those woke people who run Disney who’s boss after they hosted gay shit in their parks. Well that ended up not working since Disney parks are a lifeline for the government’s tax revenue and they didn’t want to give that up because of some drag queen story hour and Disney got away with having gay shit in the woke comes to die state.

Well the board that oversees their theme park operation has accused the previous board members of taking “bribes” in the forms of Tickets to the park and hotel stays.

Dec 4 (Reuters) – The board appointed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to oversee Walt Disney’s (DIS.N) theme parks accused the company of giving a previous local board and its employees millions of dollars’ worth of tickets, discounted hotel stays, merchandise and other benefits that were “akin to bribes of public officials.”

“For years, the company treated district employees like Disney employees by, for instance, providing complimentary annual passes and steep discounts — benefits and perks that were akin to bribes,” said the 80-page report, which the new board was required to prepare for DeSantis and the Florida legislature within one year of its creation.

“Not surprisingly then, the district’s employees believed that it was in their job to prioritize the interests of Disney.”

The Florida state government has been giving Disney special deals since they started in 1971 so they can get favors in reelections.

I mean this is the same people who allowed Disney to have full ownership of the land of the park that no other theme park can get in other states. Now that it becomes a problem since Desantis needs to be the hero against the woke mob then Disney getting special deals becomes a problem with Florida.

This is another event in the never ending grift that Desantis can be this strong leader when in fact he is being manhandled. This time he is not even in Florida as his bureaucrats have to try to stop the woke people by themselves in a state where they can’t be authoritative since that’s fascism and it isn’t hekin fiscal liberty freedom or something like that.

Unless Ron has the bulldozers sent Disney is controlling the state until the end of time.
