I see a lot of conservatives celebrate Durham and his investigation finally proving what everyone that wasn’t a mainstream conservative was saying since day one. That this whole thing was a Clinton plot to destroy the Trump administration.
All the stuff he found were the exact things we came to the conclusion when it happened. And now that the government has finally confirmed it was fake they think big things are going to happen.
Like how we are going to send them to prison once and for all.
The chances of this thing going any further are zero. Sure McCarthy might do some pointless hearings which will go nowhere. But that is the extent of what they are going to do since the GOP refuses to wield power.
GOP politicians are saying how Democrats bad for using the security agencies and the DOJ to go after Trump and everyone that gets in their way. And once they go into power they don’t do anything or even let investigations against Trump happen because we can’t be bad man Hitler.
Hitler used his power to arrest Jews who were destroying Germany and that’s bad. So we can only do whataboutisms about how bad it would be if the roles were reversed.
If this was happening in Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea they would purge it the moment they found it out since they aren’t scared of looking bad of wielding the power of the government to stop these people who seek to destroy them.
We had years to stop this now everyone who was involved in this are free and the GOP refused to stop it when it happened due to Ted Cruz losing.
